Bacon-Wrapped Steak Bites

Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar-Butter and Steamed Peas

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb beef sirloin steak, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 (5-oz) pouch Montreal steak marinade
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine beef and marinade in a zip-top plastic bag; seal bag, and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes.
  2. Remove steak from marinade, discard marinade.
  3. Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap each steak cube with 1 slice bacon, secure with a wooden pick.
  4. Place on a lightly greased rack set over a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg frozen peas

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Place potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet; bake 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
  2. Stir together butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Split potatoes; fluff with a fork and dollop with butter mixture.
  3. Steam peas according to package directions; season to taste.
