Spicy Honey-Glazed Ribs

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 (2-lb) rack pork spareribs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine honey, oil, garlic, salt, cumin, coriander, black pepper, and red pepper in a bowl. Rub over ribs. Wrap tightly in foil. Place in a roasting pan.
  2. Bake 2½ to 3 hours or until tender. Let stand 20 minutes before slicing.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¼ cup avocado-oil mayonnaise (or use a homemade Paleo mayonnaise)
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bring potatoes and water to cover to a boil in a large saucepan; cook 18 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. Stir together mayonnaise, onions, mustard, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add potatoes; toss.
