Honey-Barbecue Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1½ tsp garlic salt
  • 3 lb chicken drummettes
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ (16-oz) bottle Ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine flour, cornstarch, and garlic salt in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add chicken; seal bag, and shake to coat.
  2. Place wings, skin sides up on a lightly greased foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until wings are crispy and brown.
  3. Meanwhile, combine soy sauce, barbecue sauce, and honey in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer until sauce is thick and syrupy. Drizzle over crispy wings; toss, and spread in a single layer.
  4. Bake 10 minutes longer or until wings are caramelized. Serve with Ranch dressing.

  • 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen curly fries
  • 6 stalks celery, cut into sticks

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Serve fries and celery sticks with wings.
