Ham and Apples
Easy Green Beans and Bacon Crunch Salad
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2½ cups chopped or sliced crisp red apples
- 3 (8-oz) boneless ham steaks, halved
Instructions
- Melt butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and mustard; bring to a simmer. Add apples; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
- Top apples with ham steaks, overlapping slightly. Cover with lid or foil, and simmer 10 minutes.
- Remove ham to a cutting board; cut into serving-size pieces. Top ham with saucy apples.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen cut green beans
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 (10.6-oz) pkg sunflower bacon crunch salad
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook green beans according to package directions. Toss with butter and lemon juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss together salad kit ingredients in a bowl; chill until ready to serve.
