Apple-Cranberry Punch

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup water
- 3 cups apple cider, chilled
- 1½ cups 100% cranberry juice, chilled
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- 1½ cups Tennessee whiskey
- 2 small apples, thinly sliced into rounds
- ¼ cup cranberries (or use frozen, thawed)
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Makes about ⅓ cup.
- Add brown sugar simple syrup, cider, juices, and bourbon to a large pitcher. Stir in apple slices and cranberries. Serve in punch glasses. Makes 6 servings.
