Apple Whiskey Sour

Ingredients
- ⅔ cup water
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- 6 oz apple-flavored Tennessee whiskey
- 4 oz sparkling apple cider
- 4 oz lemon juice
- 2 oz lime juice
- Garnish: apple slices
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve. Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature.
- Pour brown sugar simple syrup into a heat-proof container. Chill at least 4 hours.
- Combine whiskey, brown sugar simple syrup, sparkling apple cider, lemon juice, and lime juice in a medium pitcher.
- Fill 4 old-fashioned glasses half-full with ice. Divide whiskey mixture among glasses; garnish each with apple slices. Makes 4 servings.
