Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients
- 2 lb grass-fed ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 head cabbage, chopped
- 2 (14.5-oz) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10-oz) pkg shredded carrots
- 1 cup organic chicken broth
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp raw honey
Instructions
- Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a large Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly. Drain and return to pot.
- Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, carrots, broth, red pepper, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
- Stir in lemon juice and honey; season with salt and pepper to taste.
