Ingredients

  • 2 lb top London broil, trimmed (or use flank steak)
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt
  • ¾ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper; rub softened butter over both sides of steak. Let steak stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak, and cook 4 minutes per side or until browned.
  3. Transfer skillet to oven, and bake 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook green beans according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, toast nuts in a small dry skillet over medium-low heat 2 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant.
  3. Whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add green beans; toss. Sprinkle with nuts and cheese.
