Barbecue Beef Brisket

Ingredients

  • 3 lb boneless beef brisket
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup Dr. Pepper (or any other cola)
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Place beef in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; sprinkle with seasoning.
  2. Pour barbecue sauce, cola, and Worcestershire sauce over meat. Cover, and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until very tender.
  3. Thinly slice across the grain.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (26-oz) pkg frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 (10.75-oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine hash browns, soup, cheese, sour cream, and butter in a large bowl. Spoon into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  2. Steam green beans according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
