Barbecue Beef Brisket
Hash Brown Casserole and Green BeansIngredients
- 3 lb boneless beef brisket
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup Dr. Pepper (or any other cola)
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Place beef in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; sprinkle with seasoning.
- Pour barbecue sauce, cola, and Worcestershire sauce over meat. Cover, and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until very tender.
- Thinly slice across the grain.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (26-oz) pkg frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 (10.75-oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine hash browns, soup, cheese, sour cream, and butter in a large bowl. Spoon into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Steam green beans according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
