Macaroni and Cheese Bowls
Fruit SaladIngredients
- ½ (24-oz) pkg frozen popcorn chicken
- ½ (16-oz) pkg elbow macaroni
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- ½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 slices fully-cooked bacon
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Cook chicken according to package directions.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; stir in flour and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and Dijon; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in Cheddar cheese until melted. Stir in macaroni.
- Heat bacon in microwave according to package directions; coarsely chop.
- Divide macaroni and cheese between 2 bowls. Top with desired amount of chicken, Monterey Jack cheese, and bacon.
