Simple Pan Gravy
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- Reserved drippings (from Dry-Brined Turkey recipe)
- Chicken broth (as needed)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add flour, whisking until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, 2 minutes.
- Add enough chicken broth to reserved drippings to make 4 cups; slowly add drippings to skillet, whisking until smooth.
- Cook, whisking occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes or until gravy is thickened and bubbly; season with salt and pepper to taste.
