Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • Reserved drippings (from Dry-Brined Turkey recipe)
  • Chicken broth (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add flour, whisking until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, 2 minutes.
  2. Add enough chicken broth to reserved drippings to make 4 cups; slowly add drippings to skillet, whisking until smooth.
  3. Cook, whisking occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes or until gravy is thickened and bubbly; season with salt and pepper to taste.
