Chicken-Apple Sausages with Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 3 (3-oz) fully cooked chicken-apple sausages, sliced
  • 1½ tsp olive oil
  • 3 cups coarsely chopped green cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • ¾ cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 2 minutes or until sausages just begin to brown.
  2. Stir in cabbage, onion, and bell pepper; cook 8 minutes or until cabbage is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in water; cook 2 minutes or until liquid is almost evaporated.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli according to package directions; toss with butter, salt, and pepper.
