Bacon and Swiss Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb boneless pork chops
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 slices bacon
  • ½ cup shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Arrange pork chops on a rimmed baking sheet; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Whisk together oil and garlic; brush on pork.
  2. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted reads 145°F.
  3. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp. Cut slices in half; place on pork. Sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Bake 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
