Bacon-Barbecue Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 4 slices center cut bacon
  • 4 (4-oz) frozen turkey burgers
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 (0.67-oz) slices Cheddar cheese
  • 4 (1.9-oz) hamburger buns (preferably whole wheat), toasted
  • 4 Bibb lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes or until crisp; drain, reserving drippings in skillet.
  2. Cook turkey burgers in hot drippings according to package directions, adding barbecue sauce to skillet during last 2 minutes of cooking. Top burgers with cheese.
  3. Serve turkey burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, and bacon.
