Cranberry-Rosemary Punch

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 (12-oz) bottles sparkling water
  • Garnishes: frozen cranberries, additional fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar, water, and 4 rosemary sprigs to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until combined. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Discard rosemary.
  3. Fill 4 old-fashioned glasses half full with ice. Divide cranberry juice, lemon juice, and ½ cup prepared syrup among 4 old-fashioned glasses; stir.
  4. Top each glass with sparkling water. Garnish, if desired.
