Maple and Banana Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1½ cups 1% low-fat milk
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Combine ¼ cup oats, ½ cup milk, and 1 Tbsp syrup in each of 4 jars or airtight containers; cover and shake to combine.
  2. Add banana to each jar; stir gently. Chill 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Meanwhile, toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until golden and fragrant.
  4. Top oat mixture with nuts before serving.
