Ingredients

  • 1¼ lb ground beef
  • 1½ Tbsp Greek seasoning
  • 6 pita bread rounds
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in Greek seasoning.
  2. Meanwhile, place pitas on a baking sheet; coat with olive oil cooking spray. Bake 5 minutes.
  3. Top each pita with beef, tomatoes, and cheese. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (9-oz) pkg chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ (6.5-oz) jar pitted kalamata olives, drained (or use 1 [2.25-oz] can sliced black olives)
  • ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette

  1. Toss together all ingredients in a large bowl.
