Cheesy Ham Hash Brown Waffles
Blueberry and Clementine TossIngredients
- ½ (30-oz) pkg frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- ½ (8-oz) pkg low-sodium sliced ham, chopped
- 1 cup shredded 75%-less-fat white Cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp everything but the salt seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- Reduced-sugar and reduced-sodium ketchup (optional)
Instructions
- Place hash browns between layers of paper towels; roll up, and squeeze liquid from potatoes.
- Place potatoes in a large bowl. Stir in ham, cheese, and garlic salt. Add eggs, stirring to combine.
- Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions. Spray both sides of iron with cooking spray.
- Spoon about 1 cup potato mixture onto waffle iron; close and cook 5 minutes or until browned and crisp. Repeat procedure with remaining potato mixture. Serve waffles with ketchup, if desired.
