Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg bacon
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 1 (12-count) pkg frozen pancakes
  • 1 (8-oz) bottle maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels. Wipe skillet clean.
  2. Stir together beef and sausage; shape mixture into 12 thin patties. Season patties lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook patties, in batches, in same large skillet over medium heat, pressing down with a spatula, 3 to 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each patty with one slice cheese; let stand until melted.
  4. Meanwhile, heat pancakes according to package directions. Divide half of pancakes among 6 plates; top each with 2 cheese-topped patties, 2 to 3 slices bacon, and remaining pancakes. Drizzle with maple syrup.

  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 (15-oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 pint blueberries

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
