Ginger Ground Beef and Peas

Ingredients

  • 3 (3.5-oz) pkg boil-in-bag rice
  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1½ Tbsp sugar
  • ¼ to ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green peas
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until browned and crumbly. Drain and return beef to skillet. Add soy sauce, water, and sugar, stirring to combine.
  3. Add ginger and peas; cook 4 minutes or until most of liquid has evaporated. Serve beef mixture over rice; sprinkle with onions.
