Breakfast Pinwheels
Fresh Honeydew Chunks
Ingredients
- 1 (6-count) pkg plant-based breakfast sausage patties
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- ¾ cup freshly shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
- 1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cook sausage according to package directions; cool, and crumble sausage.
- Unroll crescent dough on a clean surface. Press gently to seal perforated seams. Sprinkle cheese over dough, leaving a 1-inch border along one side. Top with sausage and onions. Roll up dough, jelly-roll style, towards border.
- Press edge to seal. Cut into 12 pinwheels. Place 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

- 2 cups cubed honeydew
Side Dish Instructions
- Serve melon alongside pinwheels.
