Cheesy Hot Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • ¼ lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup diced green bell pepper
  • ½ tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ⅓ cup canned cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, bell pepper, and steak seasoning in a skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until beef is crumbly and onion is lightly browned and tender. Drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add garlic; cook 1 minute or until fragrant. Reduce heat to medium, and stir in soup and Worcestershire; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  3. Divide beef mixture between rolls; top with cheese (see Note) and green onion.

  • ½ (26-oz) pkg frozen thin cut French fries
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp salt

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Toss with seasoning and salt.
