Spicy Maple Salmon
Sautéed Lemon Asparagus and MushroomsIngredients
- ⅓ cup spicy brown mustard
- 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 6 (6-oz) salmon fillets
Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Combine mustard, syrup, salt, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Brush mixture over fish on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Broil 8 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 lb asparagus, trimmed
- ¼ cup olive oil, divided
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 (16-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook asparagus in 2 Tbsp hot oil in large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice; cook 1 minute. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
- Sauté mushrooms in 2 Tbsp hot oil in skillet over medium-high heat 10 to 15 minutes or until well browned, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
