Brazilian Orange Mojito
Ingredients
- ¼ orange, cut into wedges
- ½ lime, cut into wedges
- 2 Tbsp fresh mint leaves
- 1½ Tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup cachaça (or use your favorite light rum)
- ½ cup ice cubes
- ½ cup to ⅔ cup club soda
- Garnish: fresh mint sprig
Instructions
- Add orange and lime wedges, mint, and sugar to a cocktail shaker, and gently muddle. Top with cachaça and ½ cup ice cubes. Cover and shake vigorously until very cold, about 30 seconds.
- Pour into a Collins glass filled one-third full with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish, if desired.
