Chicken and Waffles Casserole
Honey-Drizzled Strawberries and YogurtIngredients
- 16 frozen waffles
- 12 large eggs
- 1½ cups milk
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen breaded popcorn chicken, thawed, and cut into bite-sized pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Toast waffles according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, whisk together eggs, milk, syrup, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Tear waffles into bite-sized pieces and add to egg mixture along with chicken; stir.
- Cover, and refrigerate 8 hours, stir again. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
- Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13 -x 9-inch baking dish. Cover, and bake 30 minutes. Uncover, and bake 30 minutes longer or until center is set.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) container strawberries, sliced
- 1 (5.3-oz) carton vanilla yogurt
- 2 Tbsp honey
Side Dish Instructions
- Spoon strawberries in to 6 serving dishes.
- Top with yogurt, and drizzle with honey.
