Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (24-oz) jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup Italian-seasoned panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, and place in a large bowl. Add cream cheese and sour cream; stirring until blended.
  2. Sprinkle chicken with seasoning. Cook in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until done. Add pasta sauce and tomato sauce.
  3. Arrange half of pasta mixture in a lightly greased 11-x 7-inch baking dish. Top with half of chicken mixture and half of cheeses. Repeat layers.
  4. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
