Barbecued Ribs

Onion Rings and Creamy Mustard Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 (5-lb) pkg pork spareribs
  • 2 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1½ cups barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Remove thin membrane from the back of the spareribs by slicing into ribs with a knife and pulling membrane off with paper towels.
  2. Rub ribs with seasoning. Cut ribs to fit in a lightly greased 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Pour sauce over ribs.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or until ribs are very tender.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake onion rings according to package directions.
  2. Whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, and pepper in a large bowl. Add coleslaw; toss.
