Honey-Soy Seared Steak
Roasted Cashew VegetablesIngredients
- 3 Tbsp water
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1½ tsp cornstarch
- 1½ tsp honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb flank steak, trimmed
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1½ tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Bring water, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, and garlic to a boil in a small saucepan; cook 1 minute or until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
- Season beef with pepper; drizzle with half of soy sauce mixture. Cook beef in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.
- Drizzle with remaining soy sauce mixture. Serve with Roasted Cashew Vegetables recipe.

- Spread broccoli, peppers, and nuts in a single layer on a large foil-lined baking sheet. Pour sauce over vegetables; toss.
- Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
