Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut chicken in half crosswise, and pound to an even thickness in a zip-top plastic bag using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet; season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Place chicken in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  3. Stir together sour cream, cheese, and garlic powder; spread over chicken.
  4. Bake 20 minutes. Increase oven temperature to broil, and broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is browned and bubbly.
