Cheesy Hot Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, bell pepper, and steak seasoning in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until beef is crumbly and onion is lightly browned and tender. Drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add garlic; cook 1 minute or until fragrant. Reduce heat to medium, and stir in soup and Worcestershire; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  3. Divide beef mixture among rolls; top with cheese (see Note) and green onions.

  • 1 (26-oz) pkg frozen thin cut French fries
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Toss with seasoning and salt.
