Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground turkey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 5 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- ¾ tsp minced garlic
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (or use flat-leaf parsley)
- 2 organic romaine lettuce hearts, shredded
- 2 avocados, sliced or chopped
- 4 organic Roma tomatoes, chopped
Instructions
- Cook turkey, 3 cloves minced garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper in 1 Tbsp hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
- Whisk together lime juice and ¾ tsp garlic in a small bowl until blended. Gradually whisk in ¼ cup oil, blending well; stir in cilantro.
- Divide turkey, lettuce, avocado, and tomato among 6 plates; drizzle with dressing.

- Combine chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a small bowl; sprinkle over pita wedges.
