Cherry Cola Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Green Apple Coleslaw and French FriesIngredients
- 2½ lb boneless Boston butt pork roast
- 2 (12-oz) bottles cherry cola soft drink
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Place roast in a lightly greased 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; pour cola over pork. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until pork is tender.
- Remove pork from cooker and shred with 2 forks, discarding fat.
- Meanwhile, bring liquid from cooker to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat; add ketchup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Boil until thickened. Toss shredded pork with sauce and serve on buns.

- 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- 2 Granny Smith apples, cut into matchsticks
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp white wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen French fries
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together coleslaw, apples, oil, vinegar, and honey in a large bowl; season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Bake fries according to package directions. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
