Grilled Burgers with Caribbean Jerk Mayo
Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients
- 2 fresh plant-based burger patties
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 (0.75-oz) slices pepper-Jack cheese
- 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp lime zest
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- ¼ tsp organic Jerk seasoning
- 2 vegan hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large Roma tomato, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat, and lightly oil pan. Grill patties 4 minutes per side, topping with cheese slices during last 1 minute of cooking.
- Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, lime zest, lime juice, and Jerk seasoning in a bowl.
- Spread mayonnaise mixture on bottom buns. Serve patties on buns with lettuce and tomato.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (20-oz) pkg frozen sweet potato fries with sea salt
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions. Serve with burgers.
