Greek-Style Turkey Breast
Bacon-Balsamic Green Beans and Garlic Mashed PotatoesIngredients
- ½ cup water
- 2 Tbsp salt-free Greek seasoning
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 lb frozen bone-in turkey breast, thawed
Instructions
- Pour water into a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
- Combine seasoning and oil; rub over turkey. Place turkey in cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of breast registers at least 165°F.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 1½ lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 (24-oz) pkg refrigerated garlic mashed potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet, reserving 1 Tbsp drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon.
- Cook beans in hot drippings 5 minutes or until tender, stirring often.
- Add sugar, vinegar, and pepper, stirring until sugar dissolves; stir in crumbled bacon.
- Cook potatoes according to package directions.
