Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg ground Italian sausage
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1½ Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (9-oz) pkg refrigerated spinach and ricotta ravioli
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage, onion, and garlic in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until onion is tender and sausage is done.
  2. Add marinara and broth; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in ravioli; cook 4 to 6 minutes or until done. Stir in basil just before serving.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (5-oz) pkg baby arugula
  • 1 Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp glazed pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients in a medium-size bowl just before serving.
