Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (1-oz) envelope low-sodium taco seasoning mix
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (12-count) pkg tostada shells
  • 1 (15-oz) can refried beans
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced and halved

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; cook until very thick.
  3. Heat tostada shells according to package directions. Heat beans according to directions on can; spread beans on tostada shells. Place 2 shells on each of 6 plates.
  4. Spread sour cream on beans; top with lettuce, meat mixture, cheese, and tomatoes. Serve immediately.
