Tilapia with Browned Butter Pan Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 (4-oz) tilapia fillets, patted dry
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 tsp chopped capers

Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, garlic salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl. Dredge fish in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  2. Cook fish in hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until fish flakes with a fork. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
  3. Add butter to skillet; cook over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant. Stir in wine and capers; cook 3 minutes. Spoon sauce over fish and pasta.
