Chicken Sausage and Grits Bowls
Ingredients
- ¾ cup quick-cooking grits
- ⅓ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 (3-oz) fully cooked chicken-apple sausage links, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare grits according to package directions. Stir in cheese and garlic salt.
- Sauté tomatoes in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until softened. Add sausage; sauté 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in onions.
- Divide grits among 4 shallow bowls. Spoon sausage mixture over grits.
