Ingredients

  • 2 (15-oz) pkg refrigerated meat loaf
  • ⅓ cup butter, softened
  • 1 (20-oz) loaf sliced Italian white bread
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup giardiniera, chopped (see Note)

Instructions

  1. Heat meat loaf according to package directions in microwave. Cool and slice each loaf into 6 pieces.
  2. Spread butter on one side of 12 bread slices. Arrange 6 slices, buttered side down, on a large griddle or nonstick skillet over medium heat; top each with 1 slice cheese, a spoonful of pizza sauce, 2 slices of meat loaf, and giardiniera.
  3. Top each sandwich with another slice cheese; add bread top, buttered side up. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown, turning once.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (13-oz) pkg classic potato chips

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve chips with sandwiches.
