Ingredients

  • 6 (6-oz) tuna steaks (or use frozen)
  • 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce, divided
  • ½ cup sesame seeds (black and white)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp olive-oil mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp prepared horseradish (or use 1½ tsp wasabi paste)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle steaks with 1 Tbsp soy sauce. Place sesame seeds in a shallow dish; coat steaks with sesame seeds.
  2. Sear steaks in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
  3. Combine 1 Tbsp soy sauce, sour cream, mayonnaise, and horseradish in a bowl. Serve with steaks.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 bunch radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb carrots, cut into matchstick pieces
  • 1 English cucumber, cut into half-moons
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp dark sesame oil

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine radishes, carrots, cucumber, and parsley in a bowl.
  2. Whisk together vinegar, honey, and oil; pour over radish salad, and toss. Chill until ready to serve.
