Skillet Barbecue Chicken

Lemon-Butter Peas and Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 6 (6-oz) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder. Cook chicken, in batches, in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until browned. Return all chicken to skillet.
  2. Spread barbecue sauce over chicken; reduce heat to medium, and cook 3 minutes longer or until chicken is done.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (15-oz) pkg frozen green peas
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 2 (21-oz) cartons refrigerated macaroni and cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook peas according to package directions; toss with butter and seasoning.
  2. Heat macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
