Angel Hair Pesto Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 (9-oz) pkg refrigerated angel hair pasta
- 1 Tbsp butter
- ½ (32-oz) pkg diced boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ jar pesto
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta with oil according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, and season with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. Stir in cream and pesto; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Toss with pasta in a large bowl. Season with additional salt and pepper, if desired. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley.
