Homemade Chorizo Sausage Patties
Orange and Avocado SlicesIngredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground chipotle chile pepper
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
Instructions
- Combine pork, onions, garlic, seasoning, vinegar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Shape pork mixture into 8 patties.
- Cook patties, in 2 batches, in ½ Tbsp hot oil per batch in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink.

- 1 navel orange
- 2 avocados, sliced
Side Dish Instructions
- Remove peel from orange with a paring knife. Slice orange into ¼-inch-thick rounds, collecting the juices in a small bowl.
- Arrange orange and avocado slices on a platter; drizzle with juice.
