Honey-Glazed Pork Chops and Onions

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless pork chops
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1½ Tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 red onion, sliced into thin wedges
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper. Cook chops, in 2 batches, in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned; transfer each batch to a plate, and cover with foil.
  2. Add onion and thyme to skillet; cook 4 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in broth; increase heat to medium-high.
  3. Bring liquid to a boil; simmer until liquid is reduced by half, about 3 minutes. Stir in honey; add butter, swirling until melted.
  4. Serve onion mixture over pork chops.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup butter

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place broccoli on a rimmed baking sheet; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, 4 minutes or just until butter begins to turn brown. Immediately drizzle butter over broccoli. Toss.
  3. Bake 12 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
