Honey-Glazed Pork Chops and Onions
Browned Butter Broccoli
Ingredients
- 6 boneless pork chops
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1½ Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 red onion, sliced into thin wedges
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- ¾ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1 Tbsp butter
Instructions
- Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper. Cook chops, in 2 batches, in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned; transfer each batch to a plate, and cover with foil.
- Add onion and thyme to skillet; cook 4 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in broth; increase heat to medium-high.
- Bring liquid to a boil; simmer until liquid is reduced by half, about 3 minutes. Stir in honey; add butter, swirling until melted.
- Serve onion mixture over pork chops.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ cup butter
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Place broccoli on a rimmed baking sheet; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, 4 minutes or just until butter begins to turn brown. Immediately drizzle butter over broccoli. Toss.
- Bake 12 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
