Garlic Sauce Pork Chops
Green Beans with Walnuts
Ingredients
- 2 (5-or 6-oz) center cut pork chops
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp butter, divided
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat 1 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chops 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove chops from skillet, and keep warm.
- Melt 1 Tbsp butter in skillet over medium heat; Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Add heavy cream; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce on pork chops.

- 1 (12-oz) pkg green beans
- ¼ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ Tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook green beans according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, toast nuts in a small dry skillet over medium-low heat 2 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant.
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add green beans; toss. Sprinkle with nuts and, if desired, cheese.
