Garlic Sauce Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 2 (5-or 6-oz) center cut pork chops
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chops 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove chops from skillet, and keep warm.
  3. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in skillet over medium heat; Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Add heavy cream; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce on pork chops.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook green beans according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, toast nuts in a small dry skillet over medium-low heat 2 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant.
  3. Whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add green beans; toss. Sprinkle with nuts and, if desired, cheese.
