Teriyaki Burgers with Pineapple

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 1½ Tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ Tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 2 (1-inch-thick) slices pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to 400°F. Combine beef, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Shape into 2 patties. Grill patties 5 to 6 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink.
  2. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Grill pineapple, 3 minutes per side or until browned. Serve burgers on buns with mayonnaise and pineapple.

  • ½ (20-oz) pkg frozen sweet potato waffle fries
  • ¼ cup ketchup

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Serve with ketchup.
