Ingredients

  • 2 (9-oz) pkg refrigerated fettuccine (or use 1 [16-oz] pkg fettuccine)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 cups freshly shredded Parmesan cheese (or use freshly grated)
  • ½ cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, and cook until fragrant, stirring often. Stir in cream; cook, whisking, until slightly thickened and bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat; whisk in half of cheese until melted. Add pasta, and toss.
  4. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Serve hot.

  • 1 (10.5-oz) pkg frozen breadsticks
  • 1 (17.8-oz) pkg family-size Caesar salad

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake breadsticks according to package directions.
  2. Toss together salad ingredients in a bowl.
