Bacon-Cheeseburger Pie
Crunchy Chopped Salad
Ingredients
- ½ (14.1-oz) pkg refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 lb ground beef
- 10 slices bacon, chopped
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup chopped dill pickles
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll pie crust and fit into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate, crimping edges, if desired. Prick bottom of crust all over with a fork; bake 7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook beef and bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
- Stir in breadcrumbs, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and seasoning; spoon mixture into partially baked pie shell.
- Whisk together egg and milk in a bowl; stir in cheese. Dollop cheese mixture over beef mixture; spread evenly to edges of crust.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (24-oz) pkg classic salad mix
- ½ (5-oz) pkg seasoned croutons
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup Ranch dressing
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients in a bowl just before serving.
