Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 6 (1-inch-thick) slices pineapple
  • 6 Tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to 400°F. Combine beef, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Shape into 6 patties. Grill patties 5 to 6 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink.
  2. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Grill pineapple, 3 minutes per side or until browned. Serve burgers on buns with mayonnaise and pineapple.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 (20-oz) pkg frozen sweet potato waffle fries
  • ¾ cup ketchup

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Serve with ketchup.
