Creamy Chicken Orzo

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg orzo
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large deep skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, carrots, and celery; cook 6 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Stir in flour, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Slowly stir in milk; cook until thickened. Stir in cheese until blended. Stir in pasta. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.

- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup minced strawberries
- 1 Tbsp honey

- Bake biscuits according to package directions.
